The founder of Hunger Needs a Voice, Jordan Roberts is the granddaughter of evangelist Oral Roberts, and the daughter of ministers Richard and Lindsay Roberts. Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jordan holds a degree in Communications and Marketing from Oral Roberts University, and is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She has been involved in outreach and ministry since she was 14.
Jordanís vision to feed hungry children was birthed during a trip to provide aid to the people of Niger, Africa, in January 2007. After that trip revealed to her the great need to bring food to the hungry worldwide, Jordan developed Hunger Needs a Voice, a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to feeding starving children around the world and assisting families in need through the delivery of food, medical assistance, and material support.
